The Stack from an open floor. Rain, and a crater where a district was.

The record

From the highest floors of The Stack the city is not a view. It is a page. Lights are sentences. A dark block is a sentence that has been taken out. Debt Floor is what that edit looks like when someone is still in the room to see both versions.

Rain is the ordinary weather. Deletion is the policy. No sirens, no dust, no crowd left to argue with the map. By morning the map has already agreed. The gap has the shape of an address and none of the manners of a ruin.

What the climate keeps

Neon Noir here is not a coat and a hat. It is a license. Someone upstairs is allowed to forget a street, and the street is then obliged to agree. Neon Noir holds that weather. Future & Machine holds the house. This page holds the rule the film will not stop to teach.

A bakery is not a metaphor added for warmth. If a person still has yesterday, the bakery is the proof. Bread in a window. A bell that no longer has a door. The previous street survives only in the one who was high enough, and in the book a woman will not open.

The climate does not explain who signs the deletion. It only keeps the weight of a city that can be revised, and the silence after the revision, which is heavier than the rain.

Not the other rooms

The faces live in the dossier. The sentence the camera would not hold lives in the fragment. This is neither. A world book is the law under the picture.
