The Houses

Standalone cinematic films

Overview

One door for films that stand alone

The Houses holds the films that do not return. Six houses. Thirty-six climates. Two hundred and sixteen permanent pages. Each film is a complete room — no next episode, no cliff waiting on a later upload. You enter. You stay. You leave when the frame decides.

The Houses — six buildings standing in one field: ruin, temple, tower, arches, cottage, library

Six ways the same world refuses to explain itself

Darkness & Psyche is the house that does not turn the light on. Psychological fracture, gothic corridors, a sky that answers wrong, ritual treated as fact, rain that hides the name, and the village that already knows the rule. Fear here is a climate, not a jump.

Darkness and Psyche — a book burning in a root-bound nave, the one light the house did not turn on

World & Myth keeps the old world awake. Dark fantasy and high fantasy share a roof with mythic legend, folklore, sacral horror and fairytale noir. The sword, when it appears, is never the point. The point is what the old story still wants.

World and Myth — a gold mask, a glass slipper, a bell, and a sword left on the ground

Future & Machine is distance with a signal in it. Neon and tech noir, dystopia, quiet space, first contact, and the memory a machine kept after the people left. The built world does not comfort. It records.

Future and Machine — a rain-soaked machine with a neon grid, an ice head, and one green eye

Dream & Symbol holds the rules that only work inside the dream. Logic that softens, allegory that will not name itself, experiment, liminal rooms, oneiric fantasy, and the veil of the symbol. If the clock agrees with you, you are in the wrong house.

Dream and Symbol — a clock that will not agree, doors and forks loose in the fog

Human & Fate is the cost. Tragedy, melancholy, isolation, memory that will not stay put, aftermath, and the apocalypse that arrived quietly and stayed. No one here is saved by a genre. They are kept by what they chose.

Human and Fate — a paper-bound door left open in the rain, after the street has gone

Archive Lines is the house that behaves like a recovered file. Found footage, fragments, pseudo-documentary, chronicles, ritual cycles, threshold pieces. Some of these films feel discovered rather than made. That is not an accident.

Archive Lines — a body of files, tape and paper, with a camera still running

Why two hundred and sixteen

Thirty-six climates, six films each. The number is not a promise of volume. It is a map. Every film has a house, a climate, and a page that does not expire. The feed forgets. The Houses do not.
