About Pocket Cinema
Not a genre map
The Houses define the worlds. Episodes carry longer narrative lines. Pocket Cinema follows another question: how cinema holds time when the frame is small and the duration is short.
Some works complete a story in a single breath. Two signs share one frame as pairing, not as horoscope. Others barely move. Some depend on rhythm, while others allow time to remain almost still.
These are not genres. They are different ways of experiencing the same universe.
One Breath
A miniature film with a beginning, a shift and an ending — however slight the movement may be.
Held Image
Almost nothing moves. A figure breathes, fog shifts, light changes. The world remains.
Pulse Cuts
Movement through edit rather than plot. Compressed sequences where the cut becomes climate.
Quiet Duration
Slow observation, warmth, solitude and landscape — moments that refuse to hurry.
Compressed Time
Dense, immediate vertical cinema. Intensity belongs to the frame; the world still belongs to its House.
Two Signs
A pairing held as cinema. Two signs, one vertical minute — chemistry, not a chart.
Loose Frames
Frames whose place in the archive has not yet revealed itself. Nothing here is permanent by default.
