About Pulse Cuts

Vertical House · six seconds each

Movement through rhythm rather than narrative. Rapid transitions and compressed sequences where the edit becomes part of the atmosphere.

Pulse Cuts is the Pocket Cinema room where the cut is not a servant of story. Held Image refuses the cut. Quiet Duration lets the field keep its wind. Compressed Time crushes space inside one frame. Here the frame is allowed to break. Gold arrives as a bolt. Black is a beat. The face returns because the pulse said so — not because a scene required it.

Not action. Not spectacle. A vertical frame driven by pulse. These four loop because a cut that happens once is only an accident. A cut that returns is climate.

The Bolt

Six seconds · lightning as first idea

The key art does not stay a still. Gold does not halo here. It strikes.

A bolt through a face is not weather. It is the edit announcing itself before anyone asked for a story. Six seconds of the lightning thinking.

The Cut

Six seconds · no corridor between images

Gold. Black. Face. Bolt. The order is a rhythm, not a sentence.

This is the room's argument made visible: movement through edit rather than plot. You are not given time to settle. Settling would be Held Image. Courtesy would be Quiet Duration. Here the cut is the climate.

The Pulse

Six seconds · a heartbeat the frame did not ask permission to have

Slower than the cut. Harder than a breath. Black is not absence — it is the rest between beats.

A pulse is duration that has decided to return. Compressed Time would crush the space. This room keeps the space and fills it with return.

The Shatter

Six seconds · gold as a crack, not a halo

The face holds. Then it does not. Then it holds.

Shatter is not destruction as spectacle. It is the same figure cut into a new weather. Gold behaves like a fault line. The archive keeps both the face and the break.

How to stay

The room, not the feed

Autoplay is muted so the house does not shout. Unmute if the silence wants a neighbour. Loop is the point: a pulse that ends is a clip. A pulse that remains is atmosphere.

These four are not Held Image, not Compressed Time, not Quiet Duration, not One Breath miniatures. They live only here — as the Vertical House's proof that six seconds can be driven by the cut and still belong to cinema.
