About One Breath

Vertical House · six seconds each

A complete miniature film contained within a short vertical duration. A beginning, a transformation and an ending — however small the movement may be.

These four verticals are the form, not the catalogue. Released pairings live in Two Signs. Other verticals that have not claimed a climate wait in Unsorted. Held Image refuses the ending. Pulse Cuts refuse the sentence. Here a small duration is asked to complete itself.

The room is open. The breath is alive.

The Exhale

Six seconds · beginning, gold, thinning

The key art does not stay a still. Gold leaves the mouth because a breath is a plot if you let it finish.

Still. Then the gold. Then the gold thins. That is a miniature. Held Image would keep the gold hanging forever. One Breath lets it end, which is how you know it was a film.

The Ignition

Six seconds · dark, then a flame that means it

A face in black is not yet a story. A gold light that arrives is the transformation. The glow that stays is the ending — not a sequel, a last temperature.

One Breath does not need a second scene. It needs the first scene to finish happening.

The Door

Six seconds · a threshold that completes

A closed gold is a beginning. A figure admitted is the shift. A last slit of light is the ending you do not have to follow through.

The door is not a corridor into another room. It is the whole duration. Quiet Duration would let the field keep the hour. Here the hour is asked to close.

The Catch

Six seconds · the dark admits a face

Lamps first. Then a face the lamps were already waiting for. Then the look down — the miniature deciding it has said enough.

Two lamps are not a pairing chart. They are how a small duration finds something to end on. The catalogue of pairings lives in Two Signs. This is only the form, catching.

How to stay

The room, not the feed

Autoplay is muted so the house does not shout. Unmute if the silence wants a neighbour. Loop is the point: a miniature that ends once is a clip. A miniature that can be returned to is a room.

These four are not Two Signs pairings, not Held Image, not Pulse Cuts, not Quiet Duration, not Compressed Time. They live only here — as the Vertical House's proof that six seconds can begin, turn, and end.
