Synopsis
Fool's Gate. The Market. Emptied night market. Wet stone. Shut stalls. One gold lamp.
They gave the song the desert. Now two people walk the stalls looking for a living name. The song already has one. That is why the market closed.
The jester stands in the corner.

After the cut
A market that has closed is still a map. The stalls keep their numbers. The names have left. Two walkers look for a living name as if a living name could be bought after hours. They will not find one that is free. The song already holds it. The desert was given as a house and was not accepted as a house; the market is the next refusal, made of wet stone instead of sand. Gold here is a single lamp, not commerce. The jester does not mind the shutters. He was already in the corner when the last stall closed.
