Dossier
Harun Vale
Historian. Travel cloth. Empty sleeves where hands should be. He measures what cannot be held: faces that follow a giant, a ridge that files dusk, a tea he cannot lift. He came because the talking had already begun, not because anyone invited a scholar.
What the file keeps
No-hands is not a metaphor in the dossier. It is why he cannot take the name, the cup, the lease. Sight is his remaining instrument. He sees the giant who already knows. He sees the jester in the corner and does not ask the jester to perform.
Also in the file
Dreamless tea. A god that cannot be unheard. Nine chapters marked horizontal.
