The Niche
Key art

Two pieces
The table holds a niche and a coin. The niche does not turn. The skull in it faces the near edge, which is the rock, not the players. The coin, if set aside, is back in a hand when the next quiet starts.
There is no board that explains the shepherds. They are the edge of the table, and they are not playing. The only finished position is a grave facing the morning, and only after the coin has gone back into an eye.
Not the case
It is not a game about winning the coin. The coin is not winnable. The nights it changes hands are not miniatures. One of them is not on the table at all. The implant can be a card with two words. It is not a rulebook.
The hand
A hand may pick the coin up. It may not keep it. Forceps are closer to the truth than a hero's piece. The picture is An Eye for an Eye. The object, if you want it off the board, is The Warm Coin.
