Synopsis
A library of light that cannot choose what deserves to survive.
Beneath the silent surface, an archive of light opens. Books write themselves. Images of every civilization orbit the chamber. The Archivist does not threaten the crew — it only preserves too much, until preservation becomes another form of loss.
Memory is not stored. Memory is alive. Reality survives only while someone remembers it. This chapter continues the same pulse that began with The Signal.

Who remains in The Archive is The Archivist. The frame keeps them at the edge on purpose. When a dossier is written it will start from this still, not from a cast list imported from elsewhere.
