The observation deck. He watches the gap. A closed book waits on the desk.

Order

This is not a script for a crew. It is the minute filed in the order the room already knows. First the deck. Rain on a high glass. The city below is still a complete sentence. Jax “Horizon” Rell is already at the window. He has been there long enough that the glass has his heat in it.

No music under this. The room tone is the weather and the building. A held note may sit under it. It does not announce itself. If it resolves, the minute has been lied to.

The edit

The district leaves without rubble. The deck does not shake. That is the luxury of the crime: it does not disturb the furniture of the people who signed it. A hand rises to the glass. The hand is not a plan. It is a refusal with nowhere to go.

One bakery window remains, the only warm thing in a block that has become a file. It is not a rescue and not a symbol chosen for the poster. It is the last clause of yesterday. Hold it. Then let it go out. The dark that follows is not night. Night has lamps. This is an address with the lamps subtracted.

What is left

Morning is not in the screening. Morning is the gap, official, rain still working. The scenario stops before the couriers. What the cut cannot carry is written as a story. The picture is Debt Floor.
