Shed the Sun
Key art
Synopsis
No sun. A black ground, a few soft lights, two profiles. Long blonde hair, a red leather jacket, a wide smile, a white Leo glyph on the chest. Brown hair, a scrape on the cheek, a black zip jacket, the urn lit over him.
The other minute kept a whole painted sky. Here the brightness is wearable. It sits in the glyph. It does not sit in the air.
She is not performing a spotlight. He is not backing up. They are simply out after the day has been set down.
Extended sequence
Warm light on her side, colder light on his. What was one blaze is now two small signs turned toward each other.
His mouth is almost serious. Hers is not. Putting the day down did not put them in the same temperature.
Figures in the frame
Leo, red leather, the animal reduced to a white drawing and still obvious. Aquarius, zipped in, the urn glowing like a polite refusal of heat.
No wire lion. No circus of raised hands. Jackets, night, and the marks.
Codex fragment
From Further Away keeps the colour and the gap. This room spends the daylight and keeps the signs as portable light.
A sun you can take off is her fear and his method. Both of them are wearing the result.
Sound of Imagination
Night traffic, very far. Her laugh, smaller than the daytime one. A zip already done. Sound of Imagination.
The glyphs are not loud. The dark does most of the work.
The Craft
Still: red leather, black nylon, two white signs. Motion: her smile against his quieter mouth. Residual: lights with no sun in them. The Craft.
The day was set down before the shot. What remains can be carried.
Showcase
Keep the two glyphs, not the street lights. Showcase.
Those lamps could belong to any night street. The marks are the day after it agreed to be small.
