The object

The father wears a red cloak with a gold border and holds the son, who kneels in torn brown cloth, barefoot. The plaque reads The Return.

The embrace is the whole object. No one else from the painting is on the base. The columns and the dust stay in the plate.

The base is black marble with gold veins. The plaque is brass. The figure leaves the plate. It does not leave the museum, and it is not a toy.
