The Codex files remainder, not a raid. In the Wasteland Neon climate the collaborators do not storm the throne. They walk out of the diner and leave the boss the chair. An empty seat at the head of a cracked table is a sentence served at room temperature.
New Cascadia taught erasure. This room teaches leftover furniture: you can keep the title after the weather has left.
