Still First
Key art

Still
The still is the hill. If it only works once the jaw moves, it was a trick. Yellow clay, one niche, a skull that has not been turned toward the sunrise, a coin grown into the bone. Image is that rule, and the still is already the picture on this page.
Motion
Motion has one job: to prove the still was not arranged for a poster. Three minutes, in the order written at The Order of the Hill. A walk with no path. A hand that does not announce the theft. A jaw. Nothing is chased. The night that belongs to the story is not borrowed to make the minute longer. Motion.
Residual
Last is what the cut does not take with it. Room tone of the hill, thirty seconds. The carrier in the implant, a hum with nowhere to go, thirty seconds, not a melody. The click, ten seconds, because padding a door into a song would already have comforted it. They live on The Click. They do not sit on the gramophone.
The room is An Eye for an Eye.
