Neon War Drums
A march for a battle that stayed indoors
Key art
The room the tone keeps
Neon War Drums is a march for a battle that stayed indoors. The film is Dust Doesn't Answer Men: a night quarry after rain, white dust on black water, one green lamp on a rust crane.
What the frequency does
He wades and names the dust after himself. The dust keeps the ones who climb and ignores the name. The drums in the score are neon, which means they are for show, and the quarry does not clap.
After the last bar
The crane stays rusted. The film plays this and links here.
