Synopsis

Profile, a rail window smeared to a yellow strip and purple neon. Wet dark hair, dark lipstick, black lace, her hand on his collar. Wet dark hair, a little stubble, a black leather jacket. Neither hand holds a ticket.

The slot, wherever it is, has done its trick or is about to. The shot will not show it. It shows the hand that should have held the proof, spending itself on a collar.

Entry is still a rumour. You can tell by what is missing from their fingers.

Extended sequence

The yellow strip does not become a station. Her fingers stay at the leather. If a card comes back, it comes back outside this frame.

Two of this sign at a gate usually get a prop. These two got a window and a grip.

Figures in the frame

Lace, the hand doing the only certain thing in the shot. Jacket, the throat under her fingers, the face not pulled away.

Wet hair on both. The weather got into the carriage, or they brought it. The card did not.

Codex fragment

Two Thoughts has statues, books, and a broken echo. This is the transit cut: no statues, no paper in the air, a collar as the document.

A ticket handed back is a yes that learned to be a no. The frame keeps the people and loses the card.

Sound of Imagination

Carriage hum. Wet cloth. A finger on a collar. Sound of Imagination.

No beep from a reader. The missing beep is the event.

The Craft

Still: a hand on a collar. Motion: none, a held breath. Residual: a yellow strip that is not a stop. The Craft.

Outside the glass, permission is still a rumour. In here there is the grip.

Showcase

Keep the lace at the collar, not the window. Showcase.

Every night train has a window. The hand is the only pass the shot issued.
