Synopsis
Neon Rooftop is a vertical One Breath film from the Wasteland Neon edge of Future & Machine. A mutant woman with circuit tattoos and cyan-streaked hair sits close to a dark-chrome robot traced in pink neon. Between them a small neon-green frog rests on glowing blue ice. Behind them a bright orange parachute hangs tangled — evidence of a decision that already went wrong.
They flirt. They roast each other. They laugh. The frog judges in silence. The piece is complete in a short duration: attraction, cynicism and survival humor held in one rooftop frame. No series arc. No case file. One breath of Neon Noir life.
Format is vertical by design — Pocket Cinema, not a cropped landscape afterthought. The world still belongs to the Houses; the time-shape belongs to One Breath.
Extended sequence
Act I · The hard landing. Rain on a neon Lower City rooftop. A tangled orange parachute hangs over rusted antennas. On a glowing blue ice cube rests a neon-green frog. The circuit-marked woman is soaked; her tattoos pulse soft cyan. Nix: “We landed. Hard, but whole.” Vera-9: “You still owe me for that parachute jump.”
Act II · The ice and the shame. She strokes the frog on its ice pedestal. The chrome figure’s pink neon lines catch the hotel sign across the street. Vera-9: “Even the frog has better landing skills than you.” Nix: “Next time you steal a brew with the ice.”
Act III · Wasteland pulse. Under the dripping canopy, bio-electricity and synthetic humor align. Paranoia thins into cynicism and a shared laugh. Nix: “You're lucky you're cute when you're mean.” Both: “Best terrible team in the wasteland.”
Figures in the frame
Nix. Tactical scout with bioluminescent cyan circuit tattoos and a talent for surviving bad jumps.
Vera-9. Dark-chrome synthetic with pink neon accents. Dry humor that outlasts organic tempers.
The frog. Bio-mutated neon amphibian on sub-zero blue ice. Judges landing skills in silence.
The orange canopy. Stolen military-grade parachute, tangled overhead — witness to a decision that already went wrong.
