A hand releases a porcelain cup. The saucer stays under it. Neither falls.
Beyond the cloth, a house is already out in the cloud, still shaped like a house, no longer touching anything.
The room still looks like a room. Cloth, windows, a table set for tea. The six seconds are the courtesy before the ground is noticed missing.

Synopsis
Dream Logic · Standalone
A house that left its ground without leaving its rooms. Furniture still faces the windows. The windows face a garden that is now a distance. Tea does not obey the drop.
Dream Logic keeps the gravity of the interior and cancels the claim of the soil. You can sit. You cannot go downstairs.
The cup does not fall because the house did not fall. It left. Furniture keeps the old directions. The directions no longer have a garden to point at.
Extended sequence
After the cut
A man runs where the boards are ending. In the next room the floor is already a hole of weather, and the chairs have not been told. Farther out, a whole study hangs with an anchor under it, as if weight could be remembered even after it stopped working.
The anchor does not catch. It is the house admitting what it used to be tied to.
Where the floor ends, a man can still try to run. The film lets the attempt happen and does not reward it with a road. Cloud is not a metaphor here. It is the view.
Figures in the frame
Kept at the edge
A figure at the curtain, small against the cloud, watching a building that has also left. No name. The house is the one that acted. The person is who stayed in the room when the ground did not.
The figure at the window is not a pilot and not a ghost of the tenants. The frame keeps them at the edge, watching a building that has already decided to be weather.
Codex fragment
The sentence the camera would not hold: the house did not rise. The ground resigned, and the rooms declined to follow it down.
A desk, papers, a radio, and a range of mountains that should not be under a study window. The sentence is the ordinary object that did not get the news.
Sound of Imagination
Porcelain touching porcelain with no drop after. Wind on the outside of glass. A low timber note, the joist remembering soil. No crash. The departure already happened.
China against china, and then no landing. An anchor ticks where a garden wall should be. No wind-score. The height is quiet on purpose.

Object from the room
A cut of carved wood under glass, taken from the underside of the floor. It still smells, in the fiction of the room, of height. The object is that joist. It points back here.
The Craft
Image · motion · sound
The windows first, ordinary and unbearable. Then the desk and the radio aimed at a mountain that is now a basement view. Then the model of the house, made when there was still a site. The stills keep the order a person used.
The model and the drawings were made while the house still believed in a foundation. The craft section keeps that earlier belief beside the room that outlived it.
