Synopsis
Night clock-tower balcony. Black stone. One gold clock. A crimson drape. She stands at the rail as if the hour already belongs to her. He comes through the drape as if the city is still an audience. The hour is hers. The view is his.
Hours end. Views do not sit down. She says the hour came early. He is already behind the cloth. Capricorn keeps time. Leo keeps a sky that will not clock out.
Extended sequence
In the long cut the hand jumps forward. She leaves the rail. He follows her, not the view. They almost smile — less than a second — then the city is only weather again.

Capricorn Woman — pinned hair, black column, the clasp that already knows the time. Leo Man — open shirt, crimson lining, a city he still thinks is clapping. The clock does the only honest work in the tower.
