Synopsis

Dark marble, haze, panels in the air, cyan and magenta, a few of them wearing warning triangles. A thick platinum braid ending in pink, a gold hoop, a bare shoulder tattooed with roses, butterflies, and skulls.

A black wide hat, a black vest cut with gold. The face is partly metal: a yellow eye, a mechanical jaw. The near arm is segmented, a round light set in it.

A room is a place you can come back to. Neither of them is moving in. They face each other across furniture made of warnings.

Extended sequence

The panels do not belong to the tattoo or to the jaw. They belong to the address. When these two leave, the triangles stay lit. That is how the room outranks the visit.

Haze moves. The arm does not gesture. Her shoulder is the most living thing in a space that prefers interfaces.

Figures in the frame

One human arm, inked with flowers and deaths. One machine arm, indexed and lit. The room is the presence that does not need a body.

The hat shadows what is left of a face. The braid is the only soft line, and even that ends in a colour that was chosen.

Codex fragment

The desert minute puts a sign on a machine and sends it across sand. This one refuses the journey. It is the interior, and the people in it are temporary.

An address persists after the looker goes. That is the kindness of a room, and its indifference.

Sound of Imagination

A low tone off a panel. Haze, almost nothing. A faint servo in the arm. Sound of Imagination.

Nobody announces the address. It is already on the walls, in light.

The Craft

Still: a tattooed shoulder and a metal jaw. Motion: haze across a floating panel. Residual: warning triangles that do not expire. The Craft.

The visit ends. The panels do not.

Showcase

Keep one warning panel, not the hat. Showcase.

The hat is costume. The panel is the address, still lit.
